How to Upload O’Level Results from Home - JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has introduced a new system that allows candidates to upload and verify their O’Level results from home without visiting a Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre.

The new technology-driven process enables JAMB to verify candidates’ Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) results directly with examination bodies, beginning with the West African Examinations Council (WAEC).

JAMB’s Acting Director of Public Affairs and Protocol, Fabian Benjamin, said the initiative was introduced to make the result-upload process easier, faster and more reliable for candidates.

According to him, the new system will help address problems associated with the previous manual process, including misplaced result documents, fraudulent or unverified results and errors made by candidates while entering their subjects and grades.

Benjamin also said the initiative would reduce the need for candidates to visit CBT centres, particularly during periods of heavy traffic and long queues.

How to Upload O’Level Results from Home

Candidates using the new system are required to visit the designated result verification platform and enter their National Identification Number (NIN), after which they should select “Verify NIN.”

They will then be required to select the number of sittings and the relevant examination body before clicking “Continue.”

Candidates must provide their email address and phone number, select “Pay Now” and complete the required payment through a debit card or bank transfer.

After payment, candidates are expected to enter their examination number, series and year to obtain a Verification Code.

The code should then be sent by SMS in the format “VERIFY” followed by the Verification Code to 55019 or 66019. The candidate will receive a notification after the result has been uploaded.

Procedure for Candidates with Two Sittings

Candidates with two O’Level sittings are required to log in to the JAMB e-Facility portal and select “2026 UTME O’Level Upload.”

They should enter their Verification Code and select between five and nine subjects, ensuring that no subject is entered more than once.

Candidates should then click “Apply the O’Level Results” to complete the process and receive confirmation.

JAMB said it would continue to collaborate with examination bodies and other government agencies to improve its services and make them more accessible to candidates.

The board noted that the new system is expected to reduce congestion, long queues and other difficulties candidates often experience at CBT centres during peak admission periods.
